Rules Enforcement
The rules of the game are enforced by judges, who are also invested in helping you have the best tournament experience possible. If you or your opponent violates a game rule, a judge will help to resolve the issue appropriately and may assign a penalty if specified in the game’s Infraction Procedure Guide or Penalty Guidelines.
If you have any questions during a match, notify a judge by raising your hand and calling “Judge!” Keep your hand in the air until a judge acknowledges you or arrives at the table. If you believe a judge’s ruling is incorrect, you may appeal the ruling to the Head Judge, whose ruling is always final.
Do not depend on your opponent to answer rules questions or help you resolve situations.
