In-Person Order Pickup

Event Pickup

As long as Star City Games® is going to be vending at an event, you may place a Star City Games website order beforehand and save on shipping costs by picking it up in person at that event.

When choosing a Shipping Method at checkout, select the Order Pickup option for the event. If the event does not appear in the drop-down menu, the event is not eligible as a pickup location for new orders.

If your order contains preorder product with a release date after the event date, the order will not be available for pickup at the event.

When you arrive at the event, simply present a valid photo ID at the Star City Games on-site vendor booth and a member of our team will retrieve your order for you. 

Star City Comics & Games Curbside & In-Store Pickup

Star City Comics & Games (Star City Games’ retail storefront) is located at 5728 Williamson Rd. NW in Roanoke, Virginia.

To pick up a Star City Games website order on-site at Star City Games & Comics and save on shipping costs, select On-site Pickup (Curbside/In-Store - Star City Comics & Games - 5728 Williamson Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012) as your shipping option.

Orders placed within one (1) hour of store closure will be fulfilled the next day the store is open.

We ask that customers pick up orders placed as On-site Pickup within two (2) weeks. If you are unable to pick up your order within that time, please contact us. Orders not picked up within four (4) weeks without customer communication will be considered abandoned and subject to cancellation.

Curbside Pickup

Visit Star City Comics & Games during our advertised operating hours. When you arrive, park in one of our designated Curbside Pickup parking spots, then call 540-767-4263 ext. 100 and provide the Star City Comics & Games staff member who answers with your name and order number. Your order will be brought out to you at your vehicle. ID may be requested to confirm your identity.

In-Store Pickup

Visit Star City Comics & Games during our advertised operating hours, come inside and provide a Star City Comics & Games staff member with your name and order number. ID may be requested to confirm your identity. The staff member will then retrieve your order.

Once an order has been fulfilled and is ready for pickup, the status of the order will be updated to Awaiting Pickup and an email notification sent to the address on file.

Orders placed on weekends or after 4 PM on weekdays will be ready within two (2) normal business hours; email notifications for these orders will not be sent until the next business day. If you wish to pick up your order sooner, please call 540-767-4263 ext. 100 to confirm your order is ready.

Orders containing more than 100 items may take longer to prepare. Please wait until you receive your email notification or call ahead.

Third-Party Pickup

To have another person pick up your order, please contact us in advance. The third-party picking up the order must present ID.

If an individual other than the customer attempts to pick up an order without prior notice to Customer Service, a Star City Comics & Games staff member will call the phone number on the order to obtain verbal authorization for the pickup.

Modifying Orders

Adding Items to an Order

Place a second order with the additional item(s) and pick up the orders together (time and other restrictions for the chosen pickup method apply).

Other Modifications

Contact us for other order modifications, including:

  • Ship an order. Standard shipping charges apply; shipping options will be provided.
  • Remove items from an order awaiting fulfillment that contains preorder product.
  • Cancel an order.
